GraphMake ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website graphmake.com. This page explains what information we collect and how we use it.

Information We Collect

Usage Data

We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data such as pages visited, time spent, browser type, and device information. This data helps us improve the site. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.

We also use PostHog to see how the tools are used: pages visited, buttons clicked, files exported, and errors, recorded against a random ID stored in your browser. PostHog is set up not to receive the text you type into the tools or the text in your designs. On two pages, the Progress Bar Maker and the Graph Maker, PostHog also records how the page is used (clicks, scrolling, mouse movement) so we can see where people get stuck. Every piece of text and every input on those recordings is hidden, so they never show what you typed or what your design says. Nothing is recorded on any other page.

Data You Provide

Your designs stay in your browser unless you save them (see Saved Designs below). If you use AI generation where it is available, only the text you submit is sent to our AI provider to generate a layout. When the ordinary tool search cannot find a clear match, the search phrase may also be sent to TypeSafe AI to rank our existing tools by meaning. To understand which tools people need, GraphMake stores the normalized search phrase, how it was matched, the tools shown, and any result selected. We do not attach an account, email address, or IP address to this search record.

Account Data

If you create an account, we store your email address; your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google; how you signed in; the country your connection came from; the page you signed up on; and when you last signed in and visited. We use these to sign you in, to unlock Pro when you pay, and to send your sign-in codes and a welcome email.

Saved Designs, Messages and Feedback

When you save a design or project while signed in, we store it on our servers so you can open it again later. If you create a share link, anyone with that link can view the design. Messages you send through the contact form and feedback you leave on a tool are stored so we can read and answer them.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for sign-in and site functionality, and analytics cookies from Google Analytics and PostHog. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Third-Party Services

Data Retention

We keep your account and saved designs until you ask us to delete them. Analytics data is retained by Google and PostHog according to their standard retention policies. Tool-search records are retained to analyze product demand and improve the tool directory. Third-party AI providers process submitted text under their own retention policies.

Your Rights

You can ask us to export or delete your account and saved designs at any time. Email [email protected] from the address on your account, and use the same address for any other questions or concerns.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
