Frequently Asked Questions

How do I show drop-off between stages?

Enter the raw count at each stage and the conversion and loss between them are calculated for you. Reading drop-off off a funnel is the whole reason to draw one, so it is not something you should be typing in by hand.

What are the four layouts?

Classic is the tapered funnel silhouette. Stage cards suit long stage names. Conversion flow adds a drop-off panel beside the chart. Executive summary leads with the headline conversion for a slide.

Can I edit the text on the chart?

Yes — click the eyebrow, title, or subtitle and type. On the card, flow, and summary layouts you can also click stage names directly; the classic funnel draws its labels inside the bands so those are edited in the rail.

How many stages should a funnel have?

Four to six. Too few and there is no funnel to see; too many and each step is a rounding error. If two adjacent stages always convert at 99%, merge them.

Why is my funnel not tapering?

Each band is sized by its share of the entry stage, so if your numbers barely fall the shape stays near-rectangular. That is the chart being honest — a funnel that tapers regardless of the data is decoration.

What is this used for?

Sales pipelines, signup and checkout flows, recruitment stages, and support escalation paths — anywhere a population shrinks as it moves through steps.

What can I export?

PNG free with no watermark, at your chosen canvas size. Vector SVG, HD 2×/3×/4×, and MP4 of the animated build are Pro.
